Climbs virtually any vertical or
inverted surface
The Climber

The ICM Technology: Small remote-controlled climbing machines operated by a human on the ground, while the machines perform the actual “work”. Thus, the machines are exposed to dangerous heights; the machines are exposed to toxins or contamination; the machines are exposed to the fatigue and effort of the work while the human operator effortlessly controls the machines via control panel/laptop computer.

Held to the surface by vacuum force, the machines adhere to essentially any hard surface: metal, concrete, brick, etc.. The patented, highly flexible seal ensures the machine is securely adhered as it locomotes the machine over surface obstacles such as bolt heads, plates, weld seams or virtually any surface irregularity.

Utilizing this breakthrough technology, ICM is capable of performing a host of missions. One analogy is to think of the climbing machine as a computer and the vast array of tools or capabilities “attached” to the machine would be the software. For example: Attaching video cameras to the machines makes them remote controlled, free-climbing video inspection devices.  Attaching mechanical abraders (also housed in a vacuum chamber) to ICM machines transforms them into climbing, cleaning, capturing, and remediation devices because the materials cleaned from the surface are vacuum captured

at the machine then transported via hose directly into drums for proper disposal. Therefore, no human contact and no release of toxic materials into the environment. These are but two capabilities.  The range of tools or “potential applications” that can be attached to ICM machines are virtually endless.
